Frequently Asked Questions
Welcome to Messianic Judaism! Here are answers to common questions for newcomers.
Messianic Judaism is a movement of Jewish people who believe that Yeshua (Jesus) is the promised Messiah of Israel, while maintaining Jewish identity, traditions, and observance of Torah.
Absolutely not! We welcome all people - Jewish, non-Jewish, and interfaith families. Everyone is invited to learn and grow in understanding of our Jewish Messiah.
Our services include contemporary Messianic music, traditional Hebrew prayers, Torah reading, and teaching. Services are conducted in both Hebrew and English with explanations provided.
Yes! We observe Shabbat, biblical holidays like Passover and Yom Kippur, and maintain Jewish traditions while recognizing Yeshua as our Messiah.
Not at all! While we use Hebrew in prayers and readings, everything is explained in English. We offer Hebrew classes for those interested in learning.
The Torah is the first five books of the Bible (Genesis through Deuteronomy), containing God's instructions for living. We believe Torah remains relevant for believers today.
While we believe in Yeshua as Messiah, we maintain Jewish practices, celebrate biblical feasts, and emphasize the Jewish context of faith rather than adopting Gentile Christian traditions.
Come as you are! We welcome casual to semi-formal attire. Men may wear a kippah (yarmulke) if desired, but it's not required for visitors.
Yes! Families with children are very welcome. We have Shabbat School for youth and work to make our services family-friendly and educational.
Visit us for Shabbat services, speak with Rabbi Charles, join our Hebrew classes, or contact us with any specific questions. We're here to help you on your journey!
